About Us

Rosehill Auction Gallery

Rose Hill Auction Gallery has been holding quality Antique and Estate Auctions every two weeks for the past 14 years.  During the year in-between our regular Auctions we also hold several Specialty Auctions, such as our Fine Art Auctions and our 20th Century Modern Auctions.

Judith Lipton (the proprietor) has over 20 years experience with the professional dealing of antiques, decorative arts and collectibles. The handling of delicate estate matters is our specialty.

Our location in Englewood NJ, (just minutes from the George Washington Bridge) makes us very accessible from all areas of the NY Metropolitan Area.

The Gallery consists of a permanent staff of six people which helps to give our customers and the public a more individual attention.

For those of you who have been asking about Roberta Alston, who was our most popular antique assessor and auctioneer, she has finally recovered from her serious ski accident that put her out of commission for over the past year. Let me say, folks, if you ever have to apply for SSD Benefits, Roberta has now had a lot of experience navigating the red tape. He accident required her to navigate the whole process of applying for social security benefits. The convoluted application process convinced her to build an informational website that explains How to apply for SSD, What to Do if Your Application Is Denied, and How To Find a Social Security Disability Lawyer, among other helpful topics. The information is most enlightening.

With her recovery almost complete she should be back with us within a month. We went out to her Newburgh, NY home over the summer to catch her up on what’s been going on at Rose Hill Auction Gallery and about some of our upcoming auctions. Her home is fill with beautiful antiques, but most impressive on the hot day that we visited was her lovely back yard with its deck and above ground swimming pool. I inquired about who did her landscaping and deck build, as well as where she bought the pool and the hot tub/ spa. She bought the pools from a local company she said, called Royal Pools & Spas. They have four locations in the area, New Hampton, NY, Newburgh, NY, Poughkeepsie, NY, and Highland, NY. “Wonderful folks, a pleasure to deal with.” They also recommended the deck builders who were excellent creating my vision of the deck. So folks, if you live close to any of these towns and are looking for a pool or a hot tub or spa, I would suggest you at least go online and do a search for Royal Pools & Spas and check them out. Meanwhile, know that Roberta Alston will soon be back with us. I know her former customers have already been notified.
